2023 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CONFERENCE AT PAAF LAGOS.

We celebrated female small business owners and content creators at the PAAF Lagos International Women's Day Conference on the 8th of March 2023.

The invited speakers spoke across topics which were relevant to participants in self promoting their works and business with the aid of social media.

Adebola Zoe Williams
The event started with a brand storytelling session from no. 1 Brand Storytelling Professional, Adebola Zoe Williams. She spoke on the need to be consistent and authentic in brand storytelling. She emphasized the importance of telling relatable stories that can convince one's audience to buy into their brand and personality.





Ogunboye Bosede aka Lepacious Bose


 Ogunboye Bosede aka Lepacious Bose, Comedienne and Wellness Advocate, led an educative session on incorporating healthy living in the journey to financial empowerment and self awareness. She shared ways participants can develop a wellness routine with the aid of digital tools that enhance fitness goals.

Mid way into the event, small business owners were asked to pitch to win a one month creative consulting mentorship grant under the guidance of creative consulting firm, Moncoeur Global Concept. Four participants, who are small business owners in the fashion, writing and design business won the grants.

Francisca Okwulehie

The event closed with an "Affirmation Workshop" by Francisca Okwulehie, Creative Consultant and Program Director at Prince Adeyinka Alli Foundation. She taught the women how to self reflect on their accomplishments, how to affirm their strengths and why it is important to present themselves and their skills in a positive light.

The importance of technology in today's world and it's impact in the self development and financial empowerment of our women is one that should always be encouraged.
